ZuVillage Georgia, a meta-cultural cypherpunk Iteration of Zuzalu

From an Experiment into a new Culture

Inspired by the concept of the network state, in which sovereign individuals identify their alignment and form intentional communities, Zuzalu formed a temporary event and community. Two months full of Un/Conferences, Hackathons, Village Life and Involvement of Residents – enhanced by a privacy-focused digital infrastructure for coordination and feedback. Afterwards in 2023, the Infrastructure continuously improved, Spin-Off events were coordinated and Zuzalu became intentional about forming a new Culture. In 2024, Zuzalu focuses on refining its digital infrastructure and open source toolbox. No main event happens in 2024 – Zuzalu instead supports multiple ZuVillages and reopens its frontiers.

Zuzalu platformed a plurality of heterodox intellectual thought schools, frontier technologies and tribes of the meta. It attracted many minds of high openness with pragmatic intentions towards solving fundamental issues of the centralized world. Village Life allowed for many personal connections in walking distance, without any obligations to attend events. The level of authenticity and the diversity of thought and opinion among residents was impressive. Great conversations, productive disagreement and collaboration happened even across individuals of tribes with opposing views – and relationships formed. Zuzalu turned out to be a place for Inspiration, not Propagation. 

Coordinating open minded people, with pragmatic intentions aligned towards d/acc, into a collective intelligence over a cypherpunk infrastructure is, what we believe to be the unique potential and essence of Zuzalu‘s Culture. Therefore, ZuVillage Georgia dedicates its Iteration towards a threefold direction, integrating cypherpunk and d/acc in a cultural framework built around the truth-concept of metarationality.
